Oh my...what an honour....lovely Marie from www.ayearatoakcottage.blogspot.com has awarded me a droolworthy blogger award. I am totally flattered and honoured. If you haven't been to Marie's blog yet, you really must pay it a visit - she has my dream job working as a cook in a Manor House and writes lovely tales of her cooking adventures there with delicious recipes. Anyway...A big thank you for the award Marie - my heart is too full for words etc etc...!
Now it's my turn to bestow the honour on a fellow blogger...this is a hard choice as there are so many lovely blogs out there....but my blog of choice at the moment for lovely pictures and recipes is http://figsoliveswine.blogspot.com where Amanda conjures up heavenly creations using fresh market produce. This blog also has a special place in my heart as Amanda is in New York - as is my brother - and I often read her blog and imagine that my brother (fellow foodie and Masterchef contestant in series 1) might be visiting these markets too!

Oh Hannah, you so deserved this award! I check every day to see if you have something posted and I also wait anxiously for my Country Cooking magazine to arrive just to see your next article in there. Thanks so much for your wonderful words about my page as well. I really do have a dream job, I know, but I would so love to have had your courage and go onto Master Chef, now that to me would really be a DREAM COME TRUE! Anyways, I shall pop on over to check out your drooling blogger recipient now!

I don't have a picture yet Joanne as the tree will not be decorated until this afternoon when the photographer comes (I am worried the birds would eat it all if I put it out sooner) but the idea is just to decorate a tree in the same way as you would a normal indoor Christmas tree but using long strings of popcorn and peanuts in shells as tinsel - millet tied with bows hanging over the branches and fat balls a baubles - I have also decorated some stars with pumpkin seeds too! So basically all the decorations can be eaten by the birds! You can use half coconuts too and dried sunflower heads - any thing that birds can nibble at!
