Are you following the new series of Masterchef this year? We have been avidly watching! Tomorrow is our "previous finalists" episode which I am on (don't think I will dare watch in case I say anything wrong - watch out for the pomegranate ice cream - it was STUNNING!) This is what the Radio Times says about the episode "
The remaining 12 contenders face a daunting challenge as they cook for previous finalists and winners of the competition, working under head chef John Torode in their first restaurant-style service. They are asked to design a stand-out dish for the three-course menu and have just 30 minutes to deliver their food once the orders have been taken. The diners include Dhruv Baker, Mat Follas, James Nathan, Steven Wallis, Peter Bayless and Thomasina Miers." [and me too!] So tune in at 9pm on BBC1 tonight to watch us all! The below is a snap shot in the hotel the night before filming. We had a lot of fun and it was so strange to meet people for the first time who I felt as if I already knew personally.

yes, I'm watching it. I'm always in awe/total shock that people will happily put themselves under such pressure!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to watching it tonight.
You are very good at keeping quite and not spoiling things. Had it been me, I'd have blabbed like a babbling brook!

ReplyDeleteJust how much did Greg scoff?! (I am sure he didn't eat everything, but he seemed to tuck in to rather alot!)

Hi Hannah ... I was watching out for you ... wished you spoke more. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Hannah, Am a big fan of you, your blog and Masterchef and avidly read and watch all the time - I have tried twoce to get on MC, but not so much as a sniff at an interview, never mind making the final selection! I'm enjoying this year's change on fiomrat too - real shame they didn't spend more time on the 'previous winners', would have been good to get more of a critique from you all. Lucy
