Welcome
Reaching the final of Masterchef 2007 was a rollercoaster of emotion, with huge highs and lows, but I loved every minute and learnt a huge amount. I owe a great deal to John and Gregg who had faith in my ability when I did not believe in myself. Since competing on the programme my life has changed considerably. I now write cookery columns for two magazines, give cookery demonstrations and am just working on my 13th cook book - unlucky number for some but not for me!!! I love all forms of country cooking, using seasonal and locally sourced produce. This blog is to enable me to share with you a few of my recipes and baking ideas. Enjoy Hannah xxxx

Well done Hannah, you must be so excited. When is the first book coming out?
Thank you Ample Cook! The first book is out in October - I have to go and approve the photographs next week and then it will be sent to China for printing! I never realised how long it takes to make a book. I love the photo of the bowl of chocolate on your blog - you're right - there can be no better start to a recipe!

Well done Hannah! I knew it - you have fabulous ideas and deliver the goods on time - you're a publisher's dream!
And yes, it does take ages to get a book together. The readers don't realise the blood sweat and tears that go into every page ;-)
