Welcome
Reaching the final of Masterchef 2007 was a rollercoaster of emotion, with huge highs and lows, but I loved every minute and learnt a huge amount. I owe a great deal to John and Gregg who had faith in my ability when I did not believe in myself. Since competing on the programme my life has changed considerably. I now write cookery columns for two magazines, give cookery demonstrations and am just working on my 13th cook book - unlucky number for some but not for me!!! I love all forms of country cooking, using seasonal and locally sourced produce. This blog is to enable me to share with you a few of my recipes and baking ideas. Enjoy Hannah xxxx

That's a beautiful looking cake Hannah, but I especially love all the different cupcakes!
You sure have an eye for decorating cakes and cupcakes Hannah! Each one is so beautiful!
Lovely cake Hannah! I'm sure she adored it.
The only place you can get sweets for .25 these days (which is what I am assuming is about the equivalent of 10 pence...) is at an elementary school bake sale! In addition to cupcakes and brownies, you can usually buy candy like lollipops and Twizzlers!
I used to love flying saucers when I was a kid :)
Ahhh the memories
That cake is spectacular. How could she bear to eat it though? Even the little cupcakes look too good to demolish. Flying saucers on the top? Fantastic idea.
The cake is lovely. Oh those cupcakes!! They all look so yummy.I wish we had scratch and sniff on the internet.
Pretty cake Hannah! You are just amazing treating everyone with goodies specially baked for them!!
Hi Hannah -
I always love your cupcake creations and agree that Magnolia in NYC aren't the best. Just for a bit of inspiration here is a slideshow of some other NYC cupcakes if you need some inspiration. Obviously by your creations, that isn't necessary, but I just wanted to share:
