Welcome

Reaching the final of Masterchef 2007 was a rollercoaster of emotion, with huge highs and lows, but I loved every minute and learnt a huge amount. I owe a great deal to John and Gregg who had faith in my ability when I did not believe in myself. Since competing on the programme my life has changed considerably. I now write cookery columns for two magazines, give cookery demonstrations and am just working on my 13th cook book - unlucky number for some but not for me!!! I love all forms of country cooking, using seasonal and locally sourced produce. This blog is to enable me to share with you a few of my recipes and baking ideas. Enjoy Hannah xxxx

The advanced copy of my latest book The Gluten Free Baker has just arrived - It is so pretty that I haven't stopped smiling since I opened the parcel. These are just a few of the recipe pictures - lavender shortbread, cream slices (with gluten free puff pastry!), macaroons and stollen. I do hope you like it! It will be available in the shops in a few weeks time I imagine - hurrah!

Well done on yet another amazing accomplishment. I have several relatives who can't eat gluten so your new book will be fantastic for them. Thanks for doing this.

I am so looking forward to getting the book! My daughter has recently become gluten free due to illness, and I am struggling to find recipes that work. Thanks so much!
