I have some exciting news that I am now able to share with you. My next book to be published by Ryland Peters and Small will be Whoopie Pies - coming out next Spring! Needless to say I have a busy few weeks ahead creating and testing the recipes but I am so looking forward to working on this project. For those of you who are yet to discover the delights of the Whoopie pie, these are dreamy light and dainty cakes sandwiched together with very wicked fillings. It is such a me project and I am so excited to be working on it! Will keep you all posted on the writing/testing/photo process!

Have never had a whoopie pie, though I heard mention of them back when I used to visit family in the US during my childhood.

fabulous news! possibly my favourite publishers, which sounds like an odd comment, but they tend to have real gems.
not tried whoopie pies, but saw Holly & Phillip scoffing some on This morning recently. I'm sure Waitrose will have them for sale soon :O)

Congrats Hannah! I had never heard of whoopie pies, but looking at the pictures, they seem really njammmy. The book will certainly be a succes.

Looking forward to the Whoopie Pie book. Tried baking some a couple of weeks ago and they were awesome - husband had to wear his larger trousers for a few days after :)
