Welcome
Reaching the final of Masterchef 2007 was a rollercoaster of emotion, with huge highs and lows, but I loved every minute and learnt a huge amount. I owe a great deal to John and Gregg who had faith in my ability when I did not believe in myself. Since competing on the programme my life has changed considerably. I now write cookery columns for two magazines, give cookery demonstrations and am just working on my 13th cook book - unlucky number for some but not for me!!! I love all forms of country cooking, using seasonal and locally sourced produce. This blog is to enable me to share with you a few of my recipes and baking ideas. Enjoy Hannah xxxx

yes, I'm watching it. I'm always in awe/total shock that people will happily put themselves under such pressure!
Looking forward to watching it tonight.
You are very good at keeping quite and not spoiling things. Had it been me, I'd have blabbed like a babbling brook!

really enjoyed Masterchef last night. Most of the food looked yummy.
Just how much did Greg scoff?! (I am sure he didn't eat everything, but he seemed to tuck in to rather alot!)
have a lovely weekend.

Hi Hannah ... I was watching out for you ... wished you spoke more. :)
Hi Hannah, Am a big fan of you, your blog and Masterchef and avidly read and watch all the time - I have tried twoce to get on MC, but not so much as a sniff at an interview, never mind making the final selection! I'm enjoying this year's change on fiomrat too - real shame they didn't spend more time on the 'previous winners', would have been good to get more of a critique from you all. Lucy
